Privacy Policy

At PlayXIX, accessible from playxix.com, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by PlayXIX and how we use it. This policy also covers the Niko AI Assistant mobile application developed under PlayXIX.

Log Files

PlayXIX follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, date and time stamp, and referring/exit pages.

Cookies and Web Beacons

Like any other website, PlayXIX uses 'cookies'. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited to optimize the users' experience.

Niko AI Assistant — Mobile Application

Niko is an AI-powered voice and chat assistant application developed by PlayXIX. When you use Niko, we may collect and process the following information:

• Voice data: Microphone input is processed in real time for speech-to-text conversion. Audio is not stored on our servers.
• Conversation history: Chat messages may be stored locally on your device and optionally synced to Firebase Firestore to provide memory features. You can delete your conversation history at any time from the app settings.
• Device permissions: Niko may request access to your microphone, calendar, contacts, and notifications to perform assistant tasks. These permissions are used solely to fulfill your in-app requests and are never shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
• AI processing: Your messages are sent to Google Gemini API for AI response generation. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for how Google processes this data.

Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure

Niko's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, Niko uses the following Google APIs:

• Gmail API: Used solely to read and summarize your emails when you explicitly request it (e.g. "Check my emails"). We do not store, share, or use your email content for any purpose other than generating a response visible to you in the app.
• Google Calendar API: Used solely to read, create, or modify calendar events when you explicitly request it (e.g. "Add a meeting tomorrow at 10am"). Calendar data is not stored on our servers beyond the duration of your request.

We do not use Google user data to serve advertisements. We do not allow humans to read your Google data unless you have given us explicit permission or we are required to do so by law.

Google OAuth — User Authentication

Niko uses Google OAuth 2.0 to authenticate users who choose to sign in with their Google account. We only request the minimum scopes necessary for the features you use. You can revoke Niko's access to your Google account at any time via Google Account Permissions.

Firebase & Data Storage

Niko uses Google Firebase for authentication and optional cloud storage of conversation preferences. Firebase data is stored securely and governed by Google Firebase's Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your Firebase data with third parties.

Account Deletion & Data Control

In compliance with Google Play and Apple App Store policies, we provide our users with full control over their data. You have the right to delete your account and all associated personal data at any time.

How to delete your account:

• Directly in the App/Site: Log in to your account, go to your Profile, click the Pencil (Edit) Icon, and select the "Delete My Account" option at the bottom of the Edit Profile menu.
• Via Email: You can also request account and data deletion by contacting our support team at support@playxix.com using your registered email address.

Data Retention Policy: Upon your request, your account will be placed in a 30-day deletion queue. If you do not log in during this 30-day period, all your personal information, including your scores, favorites, profile data, and Niko conversation history, will be permanently removed from our servers. Logging back into your account within this period will automatically cancel the deletion request.

Advertising Partners

Third-party ad servers or ad networks uses technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on PlayXIX. Note that the Niko AI Assistant app does not display third-party advertisements and your Google API data is never used for advertising purposes.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@playxix.com and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
